1 out of 4 Teens are Bullied

Every 6 hours a young person commits suicide

Bullying is something nearly all of us have experienced or seen in one form or another.

At first glance, it is easy to label and judge others simply by what we see. Most of the time we do this subconsciously out of habit, but we challenge you to look behind what you see and get to know someone before you judge them.

Our initial assumptions about others often hinder our ability to truly connect with them.  It is the defining line that keeps us from getting to know one another and to be able to develop meaning and lasting relationships. More crucially, it serves as a blinding strategy to keep us even further away from getting to know our TRU selves.

People are just faces until we put a story behind them

When we first see others, they may appear as nothing more than an empty face that we can fill with our false judgments and assumptions. It isn’t until we look within ourselves that we realize that what is separating us others in not our differences, but rather our differences are what cultivate some of the strongest bonds we may ever have.  We will never be able to see through to others, if we don’t first remove our own masks.

Challenge yourself to always be TRU with every person you meet and know. Be BRAVE instead of a BULLY.
